High Rise City Living
This modern remodel included the removal of existing carpets and installation of a new sound barrier and new light colored floating hardwood flooring throughout the unit.
The existing bypass doors and bi-fold doors were removed at four closets, and door openings were enlarged with the exception of at the master closet. The master closet space was enlarged and altered by bumping out one wall, framing in and adding and a single door for privacy, adding new lighting, new electrical outlets and new internet connections to create an office space off of the bedroom. A fire sprinkler needed to be relocated to accommodate the wall change.
In the Living Room a new double pocket doorway was created to open the space to the adjacent room. This included the rerouting of electrical to accommodate the change. Bathrooms included clean-up of stone, removal of existing shower doors and the installation of frameless shower doors New remote control electric roller shades were added and the entire unit was painted.
